Lemonford Caravan Park, Bickington, Newton Abbot, Devon
Lemonford Caravan Park offers camping & caravanning facilities located in the village of Bickington near the market town of Newton Abbot in Devon. This is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
The park is one of the most beautiful in South Devon and the perfect place to stay for all the family. There are a wide range of pitches available including pitches for RV's. There are also caravan and motorhome pitches that are all hard standing with grass alongside. Most of these are able to take awnings and a car. The final pitches that are available are camping pitches.
There are two, four and six berth caravans available. They all offer showers, WC, basin, gas cooker, fridge, icebox, microwave oven, TV with Freeview and gas fire. The caravans on the caravan park are equipped with everything you will need for a lovely break.
Reception on the campsite has a small shop with a range of basic groceries, milk, bread and toiletries. Adjoining the reception is a tourist information area that is stocked with leaflets about the local area. There are two toilets, washing facilities and shower blocks. These are open at all times and are free of charge. There is also the use of a freezer.
There is a laundry room with washing machine, dryers and ironing facilities. There is also a disabled wet room/WC. A bath is available at an additional charge.
Dartmoor National Park is located right on the doorstep and offers a range of villages, the opportunities to go rambling and horse riding. The beaches of Teignmouth, Dawlish and Torbay are only a short drive away from the caravan park. The National Trust, English Heritage, Buckfast Abbey and Sealife centres are just a few of the other things that you can do in the local area.
