Cae Nant Glamping in Llanfyllin offers stunning glamping accommodation, set in a gorgeous countryside location in the heart of Mid Wales. The luxurious geodesic domes are nestled on a 10-acre smallholding in Powys, offering the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

There are 3 wonderful domes available nestled in the scenic Welsh hills, great for a tranquil and secluded getaway. The outstanding domes offer lavish accommodation and have been finished to the highest standards to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All the domes have private hot tubs, kitchens, bathrooms, BBQ fire pits, wood burners and hammocks.

Cadair Idris Dome:

This fabulous 7-metre fully insulated dome is great for a family holiday or romantic retreat. Inside there is a modern shower room, private kitchen and star gazing roof for looking at the night sky. You can stay toasty in front of the wood burner and there’s a Nespresso coffee machine. The dome sleeps 8 on a double mezzanine bed, double sofa bed, bunk beds and two Z beds. You can soak away your troubles in the luxurious hot tub, whilst a fire pit is perfect for huddling around whilst toasting marshmallows. A picnic table is also available.

Cadair Berwyn Dome:

This glorious 6 metre dome is spacious and cosy, perfect for a memorable holiday in the country. Inside there is a double bed, Bertie the VW bunkbed and two Z beds, sleeping 6 people in total. A private shower room is nestled outside in the olive pod. A private kitchen comes with cutlery, crockery, a microwave, kettle, a toaster and a Nespresso coffee machine. The wood burner is perfect for those chilly days. Outside there is a hot tub and fire pit, whilst a picnic table is perfect for a morning coffee whilst savouring the setting.

Tryfan Dome:

The newest dome is 7 metres and offers lots of space for a tranquil holiday. The dome sleeps 8 on a mezzanine double bed, double sofa bed, bunk beds and two Z beds. The kitchen is well-equipped for home dining and there is an internal wet room shower room, log burner, fire pit and picnic bench. A wood-fired Hikki hot tub is great for relaxing in whilst enjoying a glass of bubbly.

This part of the country has an abundance of amazing natural scenery to see, with lots of picturesque cycling and walking routes in the area. The area also has lots of brilliant trails for horse riding, including miles of off-road riding routes on our doorstep! The whole family can enjoy a lovely trip in on the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway whilst enjoying the spectacular views.

They no longer take bookings, you can simply turn up and get a spot. Please check in at the bar pay your £10 and receive a parking pass. Limited facilities include one outside toilet and shower.

Onsite they have a lovely pub to enjoy (Britain’s highest public house at 1,732 feet (528m) above sea level). They offer delicious food and offer a range of fantastic ales from local breweries. They have a large range of bottled ciders, spirits, wines and soft drinks.

This part of the country has lots of gorgeous walking routes to enjoy whilst admiring the amazing natural landscape. The nearest shops are in Kirby Stephen, around a 25 minute drive away.

They also have wonderful glamping accommodation in bespoke shepherd huts, perfect for an idyllic getaway. The luxurious huts boast memory foam mattresses, comfy seating areas, TV with built-in DVD player, kitchenette with fridge, oven and hob, plus a Bosch Tassimo coffee machine. Outside there is a raised decking area to unwind on and you can soak away your troubles in the fantastic hot tubs.

Southwell Retreat offers wonderful glamping pods which are set in a peaceful and relaxing environment. Located in a picturesque setting yet just outside the Nottinghamshire town of Southwell where there are many amenities. There are 4 pods available which can all sleep 4 in a double bed and double bed settee. One of the pods is dog-friendly.
