Highfield Farm is a working farm that also provides a peaceful setting for campers, tourers and glampers. It is located on the edge of Ottringham which is a small village in East Yorkshire. Perfectly situated halfway between Hull and the seaside.

There are 3 camping area available. The camping paddock is a sheltered field with electric hook-up points and water around the edge. Sunset strip faces west and is more exposed to the elements, however, the views are stunning. The hardstanding pitches are closer to the facilities block.

For glamping, there is Neddy's Lookout which is a shepherds hut. It can accommodate 2 people in a double bed. The hut also includes a small kitchen complete with radio, sink, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a delightful log burner, BBQ and fire pit.

The village has a pub, Post Office, garden centre, coffee shop and restaurant.

For those that enjoy cycling and walking there is a disused railway which borders the field. This area has some interesting attractions such as The Deep, Streetlife Museum, Ferens Art Gallery and Burton Constable Hall.

The clean, modern shower block has free hot showers. The washing up area is situated in the shower block and is complete with stunning views to make the washing up more enjoyable! Behind the washing up area is the laundry room (tokens can be bought in the shop for the washing machine) and also in here, you will find all the tourist information leaflets and the ice pack freezer. 

The shop stocks a range of local products including milk, bacon, eggs, homemade cakes, meat, baker’s bread and other groceries. Opening times vary depending on the time of year, so please ask when you arrive. There is an outside table tennis table for use by all campers and bats and balls can be purchased in the shop.

This is the perfect setting for exploring the beautiful North Devon coast, Exmoor National Park and South West Coastal Path. There are also many interesting attractions such as the Ilfracombe Aquarium, Watermouth Castle and Ilfracombe Museum.

The classic VW campers date back to a beautifully restored 1967 Split Screen through to a 2009 VW Danbury Type 2. The latter sleeps 2 adults on the folding rear seat/bed and two children in the pop-top roof.
