J4 Campers is a family-run business with offices in Shoreham by Sea in Albourne, near Hassocks. The campers operate out of the workshop where they can carry out demonstrations during inclement weather and where customers can leave their cars while having their adventure in a camper.
The workshop location provides quick and easy access to the main A23 and A27 carriageways for onward travel in just about any direction.
They aim to provide campers which will allow you to fulfil your experience in comfort. The campers are converted to high standards using the best quality and safest components. The self-catering style accommodation has a double LPG gas burner, an integral kitchen sink with a freshwater supply and a fridge with a small freezer section which is happy to run from the leisure battery or will switch over to 240 volts when connected to site electricity. There are also solar panels on each van help keep the leisure batteries topped up.
The campers are long-wheelbase models that offer more space over the more common short version. The twin front passenger seat rotates so that the living area can be opened up to provide a space for easy conversation and eating on those not so great wet and windy days and when it’s a bit too wild outside.
Each van will sleep 4 people (2 adults and 2 children / smaller adults) in comfort with memory foam toppers over each bed and comes complete with a full inventory of equipment. They even come with airframe awnings and bike racks at no extra charge – just leave them behind if you do not require them.
They offer a full range of conversion services at the workshop in Albourne, near Henfield.
Full or part conversions for VW T5’s can be carried out from lining to elevating roofs and everything in between. Everyone has differing needs and budget and they will offer advice on how to meet those requirements to the best effect and in the correct order for those having work done on a progressive basis rather than all in one go.
They carry full insurance specific to the conversion of VW Transporters which covers the works and your vehicle while it is with us and the conversion works carry a 12-month warranty (wear and tear excluded) with a longer warranty where manufacturer parts fitted offer one.
