Drybeck Farm, Armathwaite, Carlisle, Cumbria

https://www.camping-directory.uk/2440

Drybeck Farm is on the banks of the River Eden just outside the Cambrian village of Armathwaite. The farm provides a selection of accommodation options to provide a luxury outdoor holiday. This is the ideal setting for a back to nature experience and for those wishing to explore the Lake District, Carlisle and The Pennines.

The Wigloo: Perfect for those who want a camping-style experience, with the luxuries and comforts you get from self catering. Our “Wigloo” is a similar size and style to a yurt, with all the benefits of the bright interior and better insulation. It contains:.

The Lantern House: This is the second of our glamping holiday homes. It is larger than the Wigloo and we feel looks like a traditional lantern (hence its name). Sleeping up to 4 people and contains the same amenities as our Wigloo.

Camping: For those who want to enjoy our location and have their own camping equipment, you can stay in our camping field which has 10, well-spaced pitches. There is plenty of space for campers to feel that they are not being overlooked. Small camper vans are also welcome.

The area surrounding the farm is ideal for relaxing. You are welcome to swim in the river or alternatively there is a swimming pool in Lazenby. If you want to travel slightly further then the city of Carlisle is nearby with its shops, places to eat, nightlife and attractions including a castle.

Coldblow Farm, Maidstone, Kent, Thurnham

Coldblow Farm, Maidstone, Kent, Thurnham

https://www.camping-directory.uk/1450

Coldblow Farm is situated 600 feet above sea level on top of the Kent Downs in the South East of England in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We have a small camping paddock open in the summer (dry) months only. We can no longer accept caravans due to difficulties with access for those towing. A small housing development just along our lane which is a single track very steep hill has resulted in a lot of traffic! We still offer space for motorhomes and tents. But early booking is absolutely essential because our paddock is very popular. There are electric hook-ups to the paddock and a water supply tap. Open fires are not allowed but safe BBQ’s can be used by your tent or caravan. Please do not place them directly onto the grass as this can cause a fire.

A small shower block is a short walk from the camping paddock: 3 showers, wash basins and toilets.

The views from the farm and local footpaths and bridleways are stunning. The farm today has 32 acres including nine acres of ancient woodland, which is graded as Special Nature Conservation Value.

Lundynant Holidays, Polzeath, Cornwall

http://www.camping-directory.uk/

Lundynant Holidays, Polzeath, Cornwall

Lundynant Holidays is a small, well-run campsite ideally situated on the beautiful North Coast of Cornwall in Polzeath. The site has direct footpath access to Polzeath Beach, just a short walk away. Lundynant is popular with both retired people and families.

There are static caravans available to rent and pitches for touring caravans/motorhomes and tents, most with electric hook up.

There are shower/toilet facilities and a small laundry room.

The campsite still values the ‘old fashioned’ approach, children playing, sitting under a star-lit sky, chatting over a glass of wine and most of all relaxing. There is no club or a bar, however, there are several excellent restaurants and pubs in Polzeath and nearby Rock. The beautiful Port Isaac (also known as Port Wenn to Doc Martin fans) is nearby.

The beach is a 5 to 10-minute walk away, where you will also find the village of Polzeath with a small supermarket, post office, food shops and cafes. There are also public houses in both Old and New Polzeath where they serve good food and local ales.
