Argoed Meadow Caravan & Camping Park provides facilities for campers, tourers and glampers within the quaint Carmarthenshire village of Cenarth. We are just a short walk from the village's amenities and close to Newcastle Emlyn.

We offer 20 pitches for tourers and 10 pitches for campers. All our pitches have 16 amp electric hook-ups and hard standing pitches are available.

You can stay in our static caravan that comes equipped with a range of facilities, including a gas cooker, microwave, fridge, China, pots and pans, TV and all bed linen. The caravan sleeps 4 in total. We also offer accommodation in our shepherds hut.

We are based in the village of Cenarth, with the Cenarth Falls, a series of small waterfalls, passing through. The village has pubs, cafes and shops. You can visit Cenarth Adventure Centre and Caws Cenarth Cheese.

Rydal Hall Campsite in Ambleside offers camping pitches, based in a peaceful woodland setting. This is perfect for singles or families looking for somewhere special to stay in Cumbria.

They are in a conservation area and offer 30 grass pitches. The pitches can accommodate 2 x 2-person tents or 1 x 4 family tents only. Additional pitches require a further charge. Please note, that they do not cater for campervans, trailer tents or motorhomes.

The campsite also offers glamping accommodation in our family eco pods. These unfurnished pods are the perfect alternative for those who don’t fancy pitching a tent. These single pods don’t come with furniture or electricity. Outside there is a small, covered porch.

Onsite facilities include a shower and toilet block, with plug sockets available. They sell eco-friendly products in the shop in the hall. You can enjoy light refreshments at the Old School Room Tea Shop.

They also have a bunkhouse that sleeps 28 people - please enquire for details.

The campsite is perfect for exploring the small town of Ambleside, offering restaurants, shops and a cinema. There are lots of walks and hikes in the area, or you can take a ferry from Waterhead Pier to Bowness and Lakeside Pier.

Stybeck Farm in Thirlmere offers a range of charming accommodation at the foot Sticks Pass. Camping Barn

The Lakeland stone barn and former sheep penning area is great for groups, individuals and walkers. The barn accommodates up to 10 people in bunk beds. Facilities include a calor gas cooker, electric shower and toilet. There is a seating/cooking area that includes a sink, electric kettle and microwave.

Shepherds Hut and Dollywagon Hut

Both huts each sleep 2 people in 1 double or twin, perfect for a romantic getaway. The shepherd’s hut offers views of the Helvellyn range. Facilities include bedding, a microwave and a ring hob with all pots, pans and cutlery. You have use of toilets, showers and water on site.

Caravan

The caravan sleeps up to 2 people and offers views of the Helvellyn range. Inside the is a small kitchen including a microwave and two ring hob with all pots, pans and cutlery. Facilities onsite include toilets, a shower and water. Outside there is a seating area, great for a coffee in the morning sun.

Whilst staying here you can visit the market town of Keswick, home to shops, restaurants and cafes. Visit the he Keswick Museum and Art Gallery, the Castlerigg Stone Circle, or the lake. Locally there are lots of walking and cycle routes to enjoy.
