Hut in the Sheep Wash is a shepherds hut situated in the Newland Valley which is within the Lake District. It is only 3 miles from the market town of Ulverston. The perfect base for exploring Cumbria and the south and west of the Lake District.
The cosy hut accommodates 2 people in a full-size double bed. There is a pitch available for a small tent. This can be used for the kids.
This self-contained hut is well-equipped to include:
Kitchen with 2 gas hobs, grill, sink, cool box, pans, utensils and crockery.
Basic provisions include tea, coffee, sugar, cereals, and free-range eggs.
Homemade cake on arrival.
Outside seating, BBQ and fire pit.
Bathroom with eco loo and gas-powered shower.
This beautiful area is perfect for walking and cycling. Nearby Ulverston has basic amenities. It is also the start of the 70-mile Cumbrian Way. There are many places of interest such as South Lakes Safari Zoo and Holker Hall & Gardens.
