Greenacres Campsite welcomes families and their furry friends for a camping experience in the beautiful Forest of Dean & Wye Valley.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a calm and friendly atmosphere at the campsite, expecting all guests to respect their fellow campers to ensure everyone enjoys their stay. It's your holiday and we want it to be memorable for all the right reasons!
Situated just moments away from the famous Symonds Yat and the River Wye, as well as the edge of the forest, our campsite is your gateway to a plethora of enjoyable activities.
Our campsite offers 17 hard-standing pitches and 23 grass pitches, all equipped with electric hook-ups, welcoming campervans, motorhomes, caravans and tents. We suggest that larger motorhomes make use of the hard-standing pitches.
On-site facilities include:
A modern, heated shower block.
A disabled/family shower room with baby changing facilities and a bath.
A washing-up area and chemical waste disposal.
Delicious, natural water sourced from a borehole.
Laundry services.
An on-site shop offering essentials, snacks and drinks.
Our café serving breakfast baps, baguettes, pizza, burgers, chips, barista-style coffee and cakes.
A small play area, with plans for expansion, and a local park just a 5-minute walk away featuring play equipment for all ages.
Dog-friendly amenities, including nearby woodland walks and a park just 2 minutes away for dog exercise.
Firepit rental and wood available for purchase.

Greenacres Campsite serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding area. The nearby market town of Coleford boasts a variety of independent shops, including a traditional greengrocer, bakery, butcher, deli, as well as cafes and pubs. Venturing further afield, the magnificent River Wye offers tranquil riverside walks, wild swimming, and canoeing opportunities.
