Whitemoor Farm offers camping pitches in a scenic setting overlooking the charming village of Bishops Tawton. Nestled in glorious Devonshire countryside, they boast stunning views of the Taw Valley.
They are nestled in a tranquil and secluded setting, offering the perfect way to enjoy the local countryside and the wonderful wildlife. They welcome families, groups and clubs of up to 50 people. In total, there are 10 electric hooks ups and 25 non-electric pitches. Charming bell tents are also available by request.
The camping plots are spacious and you have use of a utility block with mains flushing loos, A hot shower, wash basin, wash-up area, shaving point, electricity mains plugs and an outside cold water tap. A borehole is also available, offering filtered natural Devon drinking water on tap. Facilities include an open fire facility for cooking, a bonfire plot, lots of parking and a beautifully furnished large barn, great for parties and functions.
They also have a hidden camping plot based in a great position by the river, for a minimum of 20 people. Hot evening meals are available some nights.
The site is in a great position for exploring, with easy access to the Tarka Trail and to National Cycleway 3 directly from the site. The bustling town of Barnstaple is only 2 miles away and a 15 minute drive will take you to the gorgeous sandy beaches at Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay and Putsborough Beach. Just a short stroll away is a lovely pub.
