Wheatfields Glamping offers outstanding accommodation close to the historic town of Rye. The glamping site near Appledore in Kent is in an incredible countryside location, a true haven for peace and relaxation.
The spacious en suite safari tents can sleep up to 8 people, ideal for families or groups of friends looking to get close to nature. They are on a working farm and lots of footpaths can be enjoyed from the farm. The two tents offer plenty of space and privacy, nestled around a pond on the family-run 500 acre working arable farm. Each tent benefits from having a large decking area to the front and back offering breathtaking views towards the ancient cliff of the Isle of Oxney.
The tents offer flexible sleeping options and Sandpiper also has the option of using the adjacent bell tent with its wonderful old iron double bed. The double beds come with stonewashed lavish bed linen with gorgeous cotton linen supplied for the twins and bunks. Each tent comes with their won bathrooms including a hot shower, basin, flushing toilet and complimentary toiletries.
Both tents come with a well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob, fridge and basic essentials. You can unwind in the living area which comes with a large table and cosy log burner complete with a small oven. Outside you will find a BBQ and fire pit, ideal for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. No outdoor lights are used at Wheatfields ensuring you can admire the starry night sky.
