Brocklands Farm Glamping Holidays, West Meon, Petersfield, Hampshire
Brocklands Farm Glamping Holidays are nestled in the heart of the South Downs National Park at West Meon.

The spacious safari tents, Yellowhammer and Lapwing, are situated at either end of a lovely grassy meadow. They are far enough apart to ensure privacy and your complete peace, but near enough to walk to if your friends are in the other tent. Both tents are the same size and are similarly, but individually, furnished. Each sleeps six people in a king bedroom, twin bedroom and double cabin bed. Each bed is ready-made with luxurious cotton bed linen and a dual tog duvet to cater for any temperature. There is a bathroom cabin with toilet, basin and luxury shower and wood burner. Towels, toiletries (eco-friendly) and other essentials are all provided.

In the heart of the off-grid living area is a wood-burning range with a large hob top and roomy oven for cooking. The flaming wood-burner will keep you warm and toasty, while the solar-powered fairy lights and paraffin lamps will ensure you’re never left in the dark.

As well as the wood burner they provide a gas ring for brewing up a quick cup of tea or coffee or cooking when you don’t fancy lighting the stove. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, basic cooking utensils including sharp knives, things like cling film and tinfoil and everyday ingredients such as oil, vinegar, tea, coffee and fresh herbs. Tea towels and hand towels are also provided along with washing up essentials. Plus, there’s a small solar fridge for keeping your wine and milk nice and cool. Water comes straight off the mains, so there’s no need to lug heavy bottled water with you.

Outside, there’s a sofa, chairs and table to ensure you can watch the sunset in comfort and style. There’s even a fire pit where you can toast marshmallows or barbecue.

We also have a touring site available a fair distance from the glamping site. This offers 15 camping, touring and motorhome pitches. It is quite basic and relaxed and situated in a pretty valley with easy access to the village.

The farm offers so much to do – walking and cycling or simply watching the land being cultivated or the buzzards soaring over your head. The Meon Valley Trail, South Downs Way and Monarchs Way are all nearby. Or you can stroll to the picturesque village of West Meon with its delightful pub, award-winning butcher, community shop and flourishing café.
