Tipi Adventure, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire

Tipi Adventure in Ross-on-Wye offers magical stays in luxury tipis and fabulous shepherd hut, based in a stunning riverside location. They are nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offer expeditions on the River Wye, ideal for an unforgettable holiday Herefordshire.

They are perfect for groups or friends looking for somewhere special to stay, with 11 fully equipped tipis available, with each accommodating up to 6 people. After a day enjoying an array of outdoor pursuits, you can huddle around an open fire whilst gazing at the starry night sky or dine al fresco in the evening sun. The tipis can be booked individually or in combination, and your tipis will be situated together but well away from other groups.

All the tips come well-equipped with 3 double futon sofas which extend into beds, pillows, duvets, blankets and bed linen. Kitchenware includes:

Plates & bowls.
Mugs & wine glasses.
Cutlery.
Serving dishes.
Utensils.
Saucepans & frying pan.
Mixing bowl.
Chopping boards.
Colander.
Grater.
Small gas stove (+1 gas canister).
Kettle.
Tea, coffee, sugar, drinking chocolate.
Washing up bowl, washing up liquid, dishcloth, sponge, scourer, tea towels.
Refuse bags.
Cool boxes & ice packs - available upon request.

Each group has 1 large firepit with removable grills, plus a picnic bench, great for relaxing in whilst savouring the setting. Please note, indoor firepits are an optional extra. Toilets and showers are allocated to tipis.

A range of fabulous outdoor activities are available to book with Wye Adventures, offering the perfect way to enjoy the amazing natural landscape. You can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, gorge scrambling, climbing and abseiling, bushcraft and survival.

The local area is great for cyclists, with Pedalabikeaway Cycle Centre in the nearby Forest of Dean. Visit the majestic Norman Medieval Castle at Goodrich Castle or enjoy some Clay Shooting at Chessgrove Shooting School. Adrenaline junkies can take on the zip wires, Tarzan swings and rope ladders at Go Ape, whilst cider tasting is also available locally.
