Hideaway Camping in Northlew, Okehampton, offers a unique glamping experience in a glorious setting. Located in 24 acres of private countryside, perfect for a rural retreat away in Devon.
They offer an eclectic glamping experience to suit all tastes. They are the perfect place to let yourself relax, unwind, connect with nature and feel refreshed and revived.
Gypsy Caravan:
The bowtop Gypsy caravan has a double bed, seating, storage and a log burner. Next door is a quaint spot in which you can cook. They supply a range of cooking appliances (including cooker) and utensils. All bedding and blankets are provided.
Jabba Shepherd Hut:
The charming shepherd hut is large, comfortable and comes with a separate bedroom with double bed and memory foam mattress. The living area has a twin ring gas burner and grill, table, chairs and gas heater. From here you can admire views of the woods.
Iglulu:
The glamping igloo is spacious and has a futuristic feel. Originally a calf igloo, they have now transformed into a memorable glamping experience. It includes a solid oak double bed, cooker, heating, solar powered lighting and bean bags. You also have use of a fire pit. Ideal for a spot of al fresco dining.
Inglula:
This wonderful space comes with a double bunk, plus space for another single mattress, a gas cooker and heating. Facilities include: outdoor seating, a fire pit and hammocks.
Excella Airstream Caravan:
The classic 80’s American Airstream provides a quirky glamping experience. It has been tastefully restored and sleeps up to 5 people. The bedroom has a double bed, sink, shower, wardrobe and storage space. The living area has a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, cooker, log burner, sofa bed and seating area which also converts to another bed. There is an adjacent flushing toilet following the retro theme. The caravan even has heating and air conditioning to suit all weathers.
Little Owl Pod:
This cosy pod is perfect for magical getaway. Inside there is a double bed and a top bunk for children. Facilities include a camping table, four stools, solar lighting and an outside fire pit.
They also have a 4 acre camping field available for 13 tents with each tent including a fire pit.
Little Melbury cabin is our communal space which includes 3 showers and 2 flushing loos. There is a shared kitchen with a microwave and fridge, pots and pans and basic cooking utensils.
They have beautiful picnic areas throughout the site and offer a range of therapies – please enquire for details.
