Howgills Hideaway is a family run business offering facilities in static caravans and glamping pods. This 125-acre site on the beautiful Howgill Fells in Cumbria.
There are 2 static caravans available. Valley View includes a double, twin, double sofa bed and a single bunk bed. It comes well equipped with a cooker, grill, fridge, microwave, TV, DVD player, books and board games. Fell View is slightly smaller and includes a double, twin and double sofa bed. As per Valley View, it is well equipped.
The site also has 3 glamping pods. Each pod can sleep 4 in a double bed and a small double sofa bed. They all have a quaint kitchen and living area. Facilities include 2 ring electric hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, TV, DVD player. Just a short walk is a timber-clad shower and toilet block. You can stay in the gorgeous en suite glamping pod, boasting a bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail. Outside there’s even an bath to soak your troubles away in.
They also have 2 fabulous bell tents to stay in. The tents each sleeps 4 people in a double bed and small double pull put sofa bed. Ellergill has a large private outdoor garden area fully equipped with picnic bench, BBQ, firepit, great for al fresco dining whilst savouring the view’s A luxury shower and toilet block nicknamed the 'shoilet' contains 2 toilets and 2 family bathroom.
This area is a haven for outdoor activities. There are also plenty of interesting sites to see such as the Yorkshire Dales, Hadrian's Wall and Derwentwater.
