Inver Caravan Park, Dunbeath, Caithness

Inver Caravan Park is a small, friendly campsite that is located in Dunbeath, Caithness. The campsite welcomes all caravans, motorhomes, tents and trailer tents along with cars, vans, motorbikes, walkers and cyclists.

There are 9 tent pitches and 10 hard-standing pitches; 4 of which are 40 feet long, helpful for big motor homes or caravans & cars which don't want to unhitch for an overnight stop. The pitches are surrounded by trees which offer some shelter, there is mains water, recycling facilities and a dump station for the disposal of grey water and chemical toilet disposal. To ensure the campsite stays clean all the roads are tarred and gritted so even in the wet weather they don't get muddy. From November until the end of March, only the hard standings are used, but some do have adjacent grass to allow for awnings and crazy tenters.

The facilities block offers underfloor heating, 3 private unisex shower rooms with excellent power showers and automatic hand driers. One is very suitable for disabled visitors. There is even a bathroom! There is a hairdryer and shaver points in the hall of the shower area and a separate WC.

The facilities block has a separate kitchen/laundry area with a washing machine, a sink for hand washing clothes and an iron and ironing board. For dishwashing, there is a double sink and drainer, with plenty of work surfaces to put the dishes on.

We also have Wi-Fi for those who cannot be off-line for long. You can browse the internet or catch up on your emails from the comfort of your motorhome or caravan!

We also have 2 comfortable static holiday caravans to rent for 3 or more days at a time. One sleeps 4, the other up to 7. Book from our website.

The caravan park is a few minutes walk from the Spar shop, and from ‘The Bay, Dunbeath’ pub/eatery. The local beach, children's play park and tennis court are also nearby, as are the excellent Dunbeath Heritage Centre and the Laidhay Croft Museum and Tearoom. Within easy reach are lovely walks up the Dunbeath Strath.
