Corcreggan Mill Camping, Dunfanaghy, Co Donegal

In a tranquil location beside New Lake Nature Reserve, Corcreggan Mill Camping enjoys idyllic views over Horn Head, New Lake Nature Sanctuary and the Atlantic Ocean out to Tory Island. Just off the N56 with free parking, it is less than 5 minutes’ drive from Dunfanaghy village.

All bell tents available are equipped with one double and two single beds; electric lighting and plug sockets; rugs and bedside lockers. They are located in the garden, beside the meditation sanctuary.

The small, quiet, two-level motorhome park has electrical hook-ups for 12 motorhomes or caravans. Dedicated toilet/shower rooms and facilities for recycling waste are available along with a freshwater resupply.

The small, informal campsite areas, which are located on the banks of the mill stream, suits those seeking an adventurous experience as close to nature as possible.

Built on an ancient, pre-Celtic ritual site, the mill is surrounded by stunning scenery and numerous walking trails and expert walking advice can be given by the owners. Coastal sailing trips can also be arranged and the shores of New Lake are just 100 yards away.
