Runach Arainn, Kilmory, Isle of Arran
Runach Arainn is a lovely and romantic glamping site located just outside the pretty village of Kilmory on the beautiful Isle of Arran. Our site is the ideal base for families and couples in search of a short break or a longer stay.
We have two 20ft diameters, Scottish made Yurts that can sleep between 2 and 6 people and are available for hire all year round.
Our site is set in a small orchard located near to the Old Manse just outside the hamlet of Kilmory. Along with the two yurts the orchard contains the bathroom block which houses private bathrooms for each and a shared laundry and pot washing facility (sink, washing machine, shared fridge, microwave and kettle). Parking for the site is a couple of minutes walk away and no cars are allowed on site making it safe for kids to run and play.
There are wonderful beaches all around the island - Blackwaterfoot in the West, Torrylinn in the South and Lochranza in the North. Cycling is popular all around the island. Mountain bikers can make use of the forest tracks that criss-cross the island whilst road cyclists can enjoy the 60 mile circular route around the island's coast road.
