The Morrells Wood Farm offers three bespoke retreats situated at Leighton and just a short drive from the historic Shropshire town of Shrewsbury. Our central location makes us the perfect base if a day or two exploring (or longer) is on the agenda, if not, then simply enjoy Mother Nature at its best whatever the season.
Our three bespoke hand made, timber-built, fully insulated "Retreats" are a truly unique holiday experience. The "Retreats" contain all you need for a peaceful night’s sleep, including an iron framed double bed, kitchen, comfy seating, a TV and wood burning stove, which helps create a romantic atmosphere on chilly nights.
Shepherds Hut - Just a few yards away are the rest of the self catering facilities housed in a section of the barn which has been converted, to include a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a modern shower room.
Shepherds Rest - The Rest interior includes the iron framed double bed at one end and the kitchen facilities at the other, with a shared modern shower room in the ‘converted pig sty’ just a short distance, approximately 20 yards away, in the picturesque farm garden.
Shepherds Retreat - The Retreat interior includes the iron framed double bed at one end and the kitchen facilities at the other, with a shared modern shower room in the ‘converted pig sty’ just a short distance, approximately 50 yards away, in the picturesque farm garden.
