Woodlands Rest, Elgin, Morayshire, The Highlands
Woodlands Rest is a eco friendly glamping site located in a lovely part of the Scottish Highlands, surrounded by 25 acres of natural woodland, in the heart of Aldroughty Woods near Elgin in Morayshire. We offer a truly unique experience that all ages can enjoy.
There are 2 glamping units available; 1 yurt and 1 shepherds hut which are both 100 metres from where you park.
The yurt is well equipped and is situated among thousands of beech and ancient oak, birch and pine trees.
The shepherds hut has a wood burning stove, candles and low voltage lights to complete the cosy and romantic ambience offered by the unique experience of a holiday in the forests of North Eastern Scotland.
The nearest pub is a half a mile’s walk. There are shops and everything offered by city life numerous bars and restaurants, boutiques and supermarkets about a mile away. Moray boasts a rugged beauty and a rich history, with numerous attractions, including castles and various top quality museums, on your doorstep. There are malt whisky distilleries open to visitors in every direction and the Highlands and Islands are within easy reach by car.
