You are also provided with 16 amp electric, TV point, water tap, grey water disposal and a picnic bench. The en suite pitches are available as grass or hard standing. They currently have 2 of each pitch type.

They’ve got a selection of self-catering holiday accommodation, from traditional camping and caravanning pitches to timber lodges, camping pods, and holiday homes.

Standard Pitch - This is available as either grass or hard standing. On the existing touring and camping area these pitches are 10 x 10 metres and all have electric hook-ups. In The Orchard these pitches will increase in size to 15 x 12 metres and will have a TV point as well and a 16 amp electric hook-up.

Super Pitch - As with the standard pitch, the super pitch is available as a grass or hard standing pitch. With 16 amp electric, TV and water, this pitch should make your holiday that little bit more relaxed.

The Walled Garden - They will still be using the walled garden as a camping area for small tents wanting a standard pitch. The old walled garden is great for small tents with sheltered level pitches and located close to the pool. They also have a small covered kitchen area here for those campers that arrive on foot or by bike (ask about our special lower rates if you’re arriving via the Tarka Trail!). All pitched in the walled garden have electric hookups.

Camping Pods:

The camping pods at Smytham Manor let you enjoy the fun and adventure of a camping holiday with a little extra luxury, and without the stress of putting up a tent, flapping wet canvas, or a wet tent to dry at home. They are the ideal accommodation for a short break, whatever season you’re heading to North Devon. They have two sizes of camping pods: the Escape pod sleeps up to 2 adults and the Family pod sleeps up to 4 adults. Both sizes are equipped with electric lighting, sockets and a heater, while outside you’ll find a barbeque and a 4” deep covered deck area - the perfect place to sit, sip and refresh yourself with the country air, or for relaxing having taken off your walking boots or cycling gear. All you need to bring with you is your normal camping gear but not the tent.

Log Cabins:

The three log cabins are situated in their own piece of Smytham Manor Holiday Park, and ideally placed to enable you to slow down and let the peace of North Devon seep in, leaving you recharged and ready to explore this stunning part of the country. With space for up to six people, each of the log cabins has all the facilities needed for a luxury self-catering holiday. You’ll find a microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer in the kitchen, bed linen and towels, and a veranda supplied with outside furniture and barbeque, not forgetting the beautiful views across Smytham Manor’s parkland and the neighbouring fields. Cots can also be provided free of charge, and you’ll have full use of the park facilities (opening times depend on the time of year).

Heather & Lavender Log Cabin :

The luxuriously furnished timber lodges have three bedrooms and sleep up to six. The master bedroom has a King size bed and en-suite shower room. There is also one double and one twin bedroom, and a family bathroom with a shower above the bath. They boast a large open plan kitchen, lounge (with 32" TV and DVD player), and diner with dining table to seat six. The large veranda is a lovely spot where you can sit and enjoy a barbecue in the summer, with the gas barbecue provided.

They pride themselves on being family-friendly, with Smytham making the ideal base for a family holiday in North Devon. Situated in Little Torrington, there is plenty to offer on the days when you want to stay nearby, with activities and facilities for kids both young and old, as well as private access onto the Tarka Trail.
