Pentre Bach Bunkhouse Snowdonia in Waunfawr offers camping pitches, set in glorious countryside. This tranquil site near Caernarfon is perfect for an idyllic break in Gwynedd.
This is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life, set in scenic countryside. The campsite is accessed via a 200-meter drive and offers pitches for campers. Please note, they do not accept caravans or trailers tents.
Onsite they have toilets, washing facilities with hot water and showers, plus a shared camping van in a separate block. Dogs are welcome, at a cost £1 per night provided they are kept under control.
They also offer self catering accommodation in the bunkhouse which is split over two floors. The ground floor has a cooking area, seating and dining area. Upstairs can accommodate up to 16 on mattresses on five sleeping platforms. Toilets with washing facilities, showers and a drying room are provided in separate blocks across the yard.
North Wales is great for road cycling and mountain biking, with lots of picturesque routes to enjoy. You can also try your hand at water sports, with kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, surfing, sailing and wild swimming available. Head into the bustling town of Caernarfon and visit its historic castle or browse and the shops and grab a bite to eat after.
