This picturesque site is the ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life, set in a wonderful countryside location. They offer pitches for wild camping, motorhomes and camper vans.
They no longer take bookings, you can simply turn up and get a spot. Please check in at the bar pay your £10 and receive a parking pass. Limited facilities include one outside toilet and shower.
Onsite they have a lovely pub to enjoy (Britain’s highest public house at 1,732 feet (528m) above sea level). They offer delicious food and offer a range of fantastic ales from local breweries. They have a large range of bottled ciders, spirits, wines and soft drinks.
This part of the country has lots of gorgeous walking routes to enjoy whilst admiring the amazing natural landscape. The nearest shops are in Kirby Stephen, around a 25 minute drive away.
