Glenbrittle Campsite was founded in 1961 and was voted No 1 UK Campsite by The Daily Telegraph. Located on the rugged west coast of the Isle of Skye at the foot of the Black Cuillin mountain range and Loch Brittle beach, this campsite is the perfect antidote to the pressures of modern living.
The site features pitches in natural pockets spread liberally across the field and down towards the expansive beach at Loch Brittle. Showers and WC facilities are located nearby with convenient vehicle access tracks for unloading camping equipment.
There are 34 hard standings for caravans and motorhomes with electric hookups and Cuillin Coffee Co is now available.
This is an ideal base for some of the finest rock climbing and hill walking in Britain, the site is popular with devotees of the natural site and offers a wild camping experience with the added advantage of facilities nearby.
