Old Chapel Farm in Tylwch offers unique glamping accommodation in a rural setting. Nestled in a gorgeous countryside setting near Llanidloes in Powys, we are perfect for families or couples looking for somewhere special to stay.
Welsh Yurts (sleeps 2 + 5): Our charming yurts can be let as a pair, ideal for extended families with grandparents or teenagers. The yurts are in their own field on the edge of the woods and a compost loo is next door. Inside the smaller yurt is a small double futon and wood burning stove to keep you warm in the winter months. The large yurt has a wood burner, a double bed and two spare mattresses.
Orange Yurt (sleeps 5): This beautiful yurt enjoys glorious views of 3 uninhabited valleys. The yurt is great for families and sleeps up to 2 people on a double bed and 3 on small mattresses stored under the beds. There is no electricity in the yurt and you can stay toasty from the wood burner.
The Goods Wagon: Our spacious shepherd’s hut boasts a lovely rustic feel and was built around 1900. It enjoys stunning views over the farm and valleys. You can unwind on the small balcony which also come with a fire bowl and cooking equipment. Inside there is a double bed and a wood burning stove. A small kitchen comes with basic cooking equipment. A 70m walk away takes you to the loos.
