Hook Farm is situated in a picturesque area of the West Sussex countryside, near East Grinstead, specifically in West Hoathly. The campsite comprises secluded meadows and small woodlands, all designed to provide campers with a back-to-nature experience while minimising impact on the landscape and environment.

The site lacks permanent structures; instead, it offers simple amenities such as cold running water, toilets, and showers. Campers are permitted to have small campfires, with logs available for purchase at £6 per bag. Hook Farm welcomes all, whether solo travellers or family groups.

To maintain a peaceful atmosphere for campers and neighbours alike, Hook Farm implements a no-music policy. Well-behaved dogs are encouraged to join campers and can stay free of charge, provided they are kept under control.

Just a brief stroll from the site, through recreational fields featuring a cricket pitch, tennis courts, and a Bowls Club, lies the historic village of West Hoathly. This village boasts an extensive network of public footpaths traversing farmland, woodlands, and surrounding villages, offering breathtaking views across the High Weald to the South Downs.
