Home Farm Holiday Centre, West Quantoxhead, Watchet, Somerset, The Quantocks

Home Farm Holiday Centre offers camping and caravanning facilities located close to the village of West Quantoxhead, in an elevated position overlooking the coast. We are an ideal base for those who want a break away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We are in a prime location as guests can enjoy the coast, the country and being within easy reach of larger towns and popular attractions. Being nestled within The Quantocks which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty makes us a great place to stay for those who want to walk the area. We are also less than an hour’s drive from Minehead, Exmoor National Park, Watchet, Taunton and Bridgwater.

The camping and caravanning park is hidden in a pretty valley between the sea and the Quantock Hills. There is an indoor heated swimming pool that can be booked daily for a free half hour session, a small shop, a bar with a pretty beer garden, an outdoor table tennis table and an adventure playground all located at the holiday park.

Touring caravans and motorhomes are accommodated on hard-standing pitches with electric hook up and water tap on the top terrace. The awning is pitched on fine gravel requiring metal pegs. Camping pitches with electric hook up and water tap are located on the lower terrace, with electric hook up in Louise’s patch and without electric hook up on our overspill area, the green. The terraces face the cliff top and look out over the green and the cliff-top static caravans and trees to the sea. Louise’s patch is a sheltered off-road area with countryside views and the green is gently sloping with no set pitches.

The main loo/shower block (with a family room, laundry room and outside sinks for washing up) is located up steps behind the terraces and a smaller block (with outside sink for washing up) is situated near to Louise’s patch. Showers are metered at 20p.

There is a rubbish collection and water point in Louise’s patch and a chemical disposal and rubbish collection point on the top terrace.

For those who want to stay onsite, but don’t want to pitch a tent we do have self-catering cottages, caravans and lodges available for hire. They are comfortable, homely and well-equipped.

You can swim, fish, go crabbing or fossil hunting on our beach or play table tennis in the beer garden. Nearby, you can visit Dunster Castle, Tropiquaria Adventure Park, take a trip on a steam train along the West Somerset Railway, play paintball or have a game of pitch and putt at Cannington. Walkers and mountain bikers can traverse the Quantock hills and fishing trips can be taken from Watchet harbour.
