Country Glamping offers outstanding glamping accommodation in Bishop Auckland, nestled in a tranquil setting. Our glamping site in Durham is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
Based on 1.8 acres and surrounded by nature, we have a range of glamping pods available: The Cosy, The Family and The Hideaway. All our pods are well-equipped and come with everything you need for a peaceful countryside getaway.
Our custom-built pods are all fully furnished and come with a smart TV in the lounge and bedrooms. Each pod has a fully-equipped kitchen: fridge, oven, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, glasses, cups and cooking utensils.
There is a comfy bed with quality bed linen and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. A sofa bed is also in the lounge.
Outside there is private decking with outside furniture for al fresco dining. All our pods have private parking and there is secure bike storage.
In total, we have 5 Cosy pods, 2 Hideaway pods and 3 Family pods.
You can enjoy some delicious food at The 68 Café. We use some of the region’s best produce to offer a hearty menu. We also offer local coffee roasters and organic beverages.
Whilst staying with us you can explore the area, home to lots of beautiful walking and cycling routes. You can visit Auckland Castle or explore Low Barns Nature Reserve.
