River Valley Holiday Park can be found in a beautiful part of Cornwall, nestled in the Penteewan Valley at London Apprentice near St Austell. This family friendly camping and caravanning park is boarded by the River Winnick & the Kings Wood, so as you can imagine this is the perfect place to stay for those who are looking for peace, tranquillity, fresh air and to be surrounded by plenty of beautiful walks. At the holiday park they aim to provide a high standard of camping & caravanning facilities as well as comfortable and well appointed static caravans.
Static caravans: They have 40 holiday homes available, all of which sit on a beautifully manicured lawn complete with a picnic table, giving you a comfortable space to truly relax on those long, lazy summer days. Each of our caravans sleeps 4 to 6 people, and they even have a few allocated vans in which they are happy to welcome a small family pet (charged at £25 per week, or £15 per short break). They keep their caravans in immaculate condition and ensure you have all the creature comforts you could need to truly unwind on your holiday: including modern bathrooms, bedrooms with quality mattresses and bed linen, panel heating, gas fires and fully fitted kitchens. They believe little extras go a long way, which is why you’ll find a welcome tray upon arrival.
Touring pitches: The 45 touring pitches are all spacious, level and beautifully manicured with hard standing and a lawn. As well as a lush, peaceful location and the convenience of electric hook-ups, they go one step further to offer a few creature comforts such as the indoor pool, the provision of ice blocks and a laundry room complete with irons and ironing boards.
Camping: The large, level pitches are well manicured with lawns and hard standing. You’ll never have to pitch up in a mud pit, even following a torrential downpour (although you might want to bring an extra groundsheet and a hammer for your pegs).
They know little touches can make a big difference, which is why you’ll find a whole range of immaculate facilities on site to provide extra comfort and enjoyment during your stay. There’s a library packed with books, a family bathroom complete with bath, a modern and safe play area, indoor pool and bike hire just moments away.
River Valley Holiday Park couldn’t be better located: it’s in the middle of Cornwall, allowing you to access the county’s best features, local attractions, and landmarks on foot, by bike, car or bus.
