Swaledale Yurts, Keld, North Yorkshire
Swaledale Yurts in Keld offer a wonderful glamping experience on the banks of the River Swale. This is the perfect base to explore North Yorkshire and a variety of attractions in the area.
This scenic site is perfect for peace and tranquillity. There are a limited number of pitches available on the campsite which is also home to our 5 fabulous yurts. All the yurts are beautifully furnished and great for a romantic getaway or a family holiday in a stunning countryside setting.
The gorgeous scenery and spectacular waterfalls provide the backdrop of ther five Mongolian Yurts. The spacious yurts are 19ft tents come with locking front doors, wood-burning stoves, real beds, sofas and dining area. All the yurts come with an electric hook up included, along with a mini fridge, lamp, kettle, hair dryer and electric heater. The yurts all now have their own private bathroom.
Guests have the option to book the large private hot tub with stunning views across the Dale. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each yurt including fresh milk and they offer a range of delicious home-cooked evening meals, served to you in your yurt.
Whilst they do not allow cooking in the yurts (in order to prevent the smells being absorbed into the fabric walls) guests have access to the newly renovated campers barn which has a fully fitted kitchen including hob, fridge freezer, microwave and toaster. The kitchen is also stocked with pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. They also have a full drinks license and stock a range of wines, beers and ales.

Campers can enjoy access to our own private 30ft waterfall.
They allow campfires and there are several firepits available for you to use, plus firewood and marshmallows for sale.
