Plas Gwyn Caravan & Camping Park offers outstanding touring, camping and glamping facilities within the grounds of Plas Gwyn House. We are a great base to explore a range of attractions in the local area.
Plas Gwyn caters for touring caravans, motor homes and tents. Plas Gwyn also offers five static holiday caravans, a timber tent and Bed & Breakfast, all available for short breaks or weekly hire.
The touring field has space for thirty units, all with electric hook up. Some are hardstandings that are ideally suited to motor homes, and there are a few serviced pitches. The separate camping field has space for ten tents with electric hook up on six pitches. The site is laid out leaving areas in the centre for family-friendly games but we ask that respect for others on the site is observed.
Our amenity building offers excellent facilities including showers (included in pitch fee) and a separate dishwashing area. These are kept clean by ourselves with the assistance of our visitors.
Around the site, we have facilities for emptying foul and grey water waste, filling drinking water containers, and a drive over grey water waste point for motor homes.
For those who require a bit more luxury in their camping holiday, we now have a locally made Timber Tent that will sleep up to four people making it ideal for family and friends alike. The timber tent is fully insulated and comes equipped with mattresses, a refrigerator, a heater and a kettle. This will offer the ideal base in Snowdonia for those who don't want to pitch their own tent as well as offering a bit more comfort on those more inclement British days. Just bring your own sleeping bags and cooking equipment for a night or stay awhile. You will be most welcome!
