Woody's Luxury Glamping offers a truly luxurious glamping experience at Ty Mawr Gell, near Llangernyw. The small campsite in Conwy is in the foothills of Snowdonia, and 15 minutes from the coast, it’s ideal for a peaceful break away or for the energetic, there are plenty of adrenalin-filled adventures close by.
They have a range of comfortable accommodation options to choose from, for example, Gracie's Lodge which is a charming lodge that has been beautifully furnished and was created using reclaimed scaffolding boards and supports. The super king-size bed, kitchen, bathroom & stairs were all made using upcycled materials. The lodge sleeps up to 4 people and inside you will find a handmade super king-size bed in the bedroom, and a large sofa bed. Cooking facilities include a full oven and fridge/freezer. There is a shower room downstairs. Outside is a delightful patio area with weber gas BBQ and seating, perfect for a spot of al fresco dining.
Bella Bell Tent is a wonderful bell tent that boasts a superb hot tub, perfect for stargazing at night. Outside there is also seating, a BBQ, cool box, chimenea heater and a fire pit. Inside the tent there is a handmade king-size bed, a two-seater sofa bed and tea and coffee making facilities, there is also heating in Bella, and the availability to plug in the hairdryer, charge phones etc. There is also a shower room and loo shed with a flushing toilet close by. Of course, you have your own wood-fired hot tub & hammock for your personal use only.
The Hoot Tent is new for 2022 and will be an exciting new tent. This delightful tent with a private wood-fired hot tub boasts views of rolling countryside and comes with a cosy king-size bed and additional bedding to sleep 4. Outside there is a table and chairs, a BBQ, fire pit, and rocking chair. A great place for a morning coffee whilst enjoying the view.
They offer an on-arrival dining service which is very popular. They also offer a range of home-cooked breakfasts using superb local produce. Breakfast is served in either the heated Pizza shack or in/outside your tent. Pizza experiences with James are very popular. Here you can learn how to make your own pizza in their Tuscan wood-fired oven. They can also offer Tuscan feasts cooked in the Tuscan oven for groups of 4 or more.
North Wales is the perfect place for the Adrenalin junkies, from Europe's longest Zipwire to bouncing in caves at Bounce Below, surfing, potholing, climbing. Lots of great places to visit are nearby such as Great Orme & its copper mines, Conwy Castle, Bodnant Garden, Colwyn Bay Beach, Gwrych Castle (‘I'm a Celebrity get me out of here’) & Portmerion – the Italian themed Gardens.
