The Meadows Campsite, Nansladron, St. Austell, Cornwall
The Meadows Campsite is a small family-run adult only park in Nansladron which is set in six acres of beautiful grounds. The park near St. Austell in Cornwall is the perfect place to escape to from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
This adult only site is in a stunning location and comprises of a campground, meadow and woodland. There is lots of wildlife and a delightful stream runs down one side, making this a true haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
There are facilities for campervans, tents, caravans and motorhomes. Electric hook up pitches and ‘proper camping’ pitches are available in our wonderful wild flower meadow. Fire pits and Smoke Joe BBQs are available for hire.
At the campsite there are two 1960s vintage caravans available for hire, Lottie and Mabel. Lottie been furnished in a beach hut style and comes with electric hook up for everyday essentials. A Smokey Joe BBQ is provided and there is also a decking area with a table, chairs, deckchairs and a sail. The kitchen comes with a range of cooking utensils and Cath Kidston glasses are provided. Mable is a two berth caravan which is slightly more roomy and luxurious. It is styled is warm toned colours and a traditional rose design. Mabel also only has al fresco cooking, but comes also with an electric kettle and an electric cooler, As well as the gas stove, a BBQ is provided.
Every week there are pop-up shops for food and drink which come to the campsite. On Tuesdays Kernowforno provides delicious wood fired oven pizzas, ‘proper coffee’ and sometime homemade cakes. The Cornish Maid visits the campsite 2 or 3 times a week and serves excellent breakfast options.
There is a small shop which sells a range of essential items, including eggs from the hens, local Cornish milk and Roskillys organic ice cream.
