Riverside Caravan Park is in a picturesque location by the side of the River Wenning which is just outside the town centre of High Bentham. This quiet location is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales yet close to the city of Lancaster, Lancashire.
This wonderful park has a range of touring pitches available onsite which are very spacious. The fully serviced pitches each boast a water stand pipe and grey waste pipe as well as adjacent gravel space for awnings or seating. All the pitches offer electric and T.V. points, space for awnings and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The award-winning amenities block is within easy reaching distance of all our touring pitches, and is accessed using a fob. The facilities also include disabled shower room & toilet, family bathroom, a utility room for washing up and a chemical toilet disposal point.
There are also a range of holiday homes to choose from. The hard standing holiday home pitches are fully serviced (including mains drainage, water, electric and TV points) and beautifully maintained.
The sheltered level setting straddling the banks of the River Wenning is truly superb, screened by trees and natural hillsides with excellent walks along the riverbank and in the surrounding countryside.
For the more adventurous, the “Yorkshire Three Peaks”, which takes in Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough are very close by. River Wenning, ideal for fishing. Many walkers aim to walk all three within 12 hours, but of course you can take your time.
