Thornfield Camping Cabins in Hawksdale offers luxurious accommodation in 7 lovely pods. Situated in a beautiful rural setting on the edge of the Lake District National Park, we are ideal for a countryside retreat in Cumbria.
Our pods are fully equipped and offer a range of modern comforts. They are all en suite and offer a range of excellent facilities.
You can enjoy a delicious meal from our neighbours, Woodside Welcome Cycle Cafe who can offer you breakfast and dinner packages, delivered to your pods. All the ingredients are locally sourced, with Woodside Breakfast in a Box, Steak Pie and triple cooked chips or Cumbrian Tapas popular choices.
Cumbria has lots of great attractions to visit, including Rose Castle, Derwent Water Marina, Lake District Wildlife Park, Whinlatter Forest Park & Rookin House Activity Centre.
