The Green Caravan & Camping Park in Wentnor offers relaxation and tranquillity for campers and tourers, nestled in the gorgeous Onny valley between the Long Mynd and Stiperstones Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our family-run caravan and camping site covers 15 acres of land in a beautiful countryside setting. The sheltered and level site is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
Several of the camping pitches are adjacent to the wonderful river running through the park. In total, we have 44 electric hook-up pitches, 15 riverside pitches and 6 hardstanding pitches for motorhomes. The Island also has 10 electric pitches, with half of them set by the river. These are for tents or small camper vans.
Onsite we have a variety of facilities: shower block with hot showers, flush toilets, hot water to all hand basins, hair dryers, electric shaver point, a washing machine, a tumble drier and washing-up sinks. A chemical disposal point is also available.
The local area has so much natural beauty to see, with an abundance of scenic hills waiting to be discovered. Lots of country inns are nearby, whilst The Inn on the Green is a family pub located at the site entrance. Their Sunday lunch is very popular! A short stroll up the hill takes you to Crown Inn, renowned for its fantastic pies.
