Heritage Coast Campsite, Monknash, Glamorgan

Heritage Coast Campsite, Monknash, Glamorgan

Heritage Coast Campsite is nestled within the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan, outside of Monkash and just a short drive from the Welsh coastline. There are pitches available for tents and campervans and now on offer is boutique B&B/glamping accommodation in one of the lovely bell tents.

The 5-metre bell tents are beautifully appointed with quality fabrics, carpeting, rugs, cushions, furniture and equipment. Sleep peacefully in a comfortable double bed, with quality cotton bedding and warm duvets. Extra blankets are stored in the ottoman inside the tent.

Essentials include tea, coffee, condiments, crockery, cutlery, pans and of course a kettle. The bedding is professionally laundered to ensure the linen is always crisp and clean. Bath towels are also provided. What better way to go on holiday than receiving room service in a field? The owners will hand-deliver your logs, provide maps, leaflets and tourist information - as well as breakfast in the morning.

Pitch your tent on the level, soft grass paddocks. There’s space for a car included in your pitch area, so you’ll have everything on hand for easy setup. The site is also licenced for tents and campervans. Your pitch size will accommodate the campervan and a tent to the side if required.

There is so much on offer in the local area. Activities include walking, cycling and mountain biking, surfing (including board hire), climbing centres, or treetop adventuring. Visitor attractions within easy reach include sites of historic interest from throughout the ages, churches, castles, a lighthouse, beaches, play facilities both in and outdoor and some beautiful parks, nature reserves and gardens. For a little retail therapy, there is plentiful shopping in both the smaller towns like Cowbridge, the cities of Cardiff and Swansea and at the McArthur Glenn designer outlet nearby.
