Bring all the normal camping gear but do not worry about packing the tent. Each Cocoon has plenty of headroom with a floor area of 6.5 square meters of internal space, ample space for up to 2 adults & 2 children. The Cocoon accommodates the variable British weather keeping you warm and dry with the advantage of good ventilation for those summer days. The large rear window allowing you to enjoy the scenery. A wooden tent: for all situations with the additional benefit of a lockable patio door. Mill Park Camp and Caravan site Cocoon offers a convenient alternative to the tent but retains all the ambience of the camping holiday, set in a secluded area by the lake.
The site is surrounded by attractive woodland and is an ideal family site. Being just a short walk to quiet beaches, both sand and pebble. Equally near at hand is the unspoilt and breathtaking beauty of Exmoor. The nearest village, Berrynarbor is just a five-minute walk from the site. This village dates back from the sixteenth century and earlier. There is a quaint old country pub, village stores and post office. Buses also pass past the site regularly.
North Devon has a charm all of its own, with miles of golden sandy beaches and picturesque market towns and fishing villages. The village of Croyde is ideally suited for exploring all that the region has to offer. Both Croyde and Woolacombe beaches have gained The Seaside Award for their excellent facilities.
