Patterdale Hall Estate in Glenridding, Curmbria, offers
stunning self catering and caravan accommodation on a glorious 300 acre
private estate. Based in the beautiful Ullswater Valley, this is a truly idyllic holiday destination.
The estate has a charming, five pitch, Caravan Club members only 'CL' site. The site is located in woodland next to Grisedale Beck just upstream of Grisedale Bridge. Each pitch is hard standing and has electric hook up and its own picnic table. Excellent facilities include free Wi-Fi, TV points, cold water tap and chemical point but we do not have toilets and showers. All guests are welcome to explore the 300 acre estate and use the private foreshore for fishing or boating.
In addition, there are 11 self catering properties to choose from. These include pine lodges, cedar chalets and stone bothies. The lodges sleep up to six people and includes living, dining and kitchens areas. Bedrooms consist of double, twin and bunk rooms.
The chalets sleep between four and five people. These includes living, dining and kitchens areas. Bedrooms are a mixture of double, twin and bunk beds. A bathroom comes with bath, shower and toilet.
The stone Bothies are perfect for two to three people. These include living, dining and kitchens areas. They share a lovely walled garden with picnic tables to dine on.
The site is located at the start of many iconic Lakeland walks, including Helvellyn, Dollywagon Pike, and the amazing lakeshore walk to Howtown. The Lake District tourist centres are all under 30 minutes away by vehicle.
