Seithfed Nef is Welsh for A Seventh Heaven, it’s located just outside of Clynnogfawr close to Caernarfon in Gwynedd. This 16 acre site provides canvas bell tents within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There is a mowed area outside each tent. Other than that the fields are used for sheep grazing during the winter and although paths are mown from the tents to the showers, the barn and car park during the glamping season, the fields and hedgerows are as wild as they can be. That means mole hills in early season and wildflower meadows during the height of summer. Each bell tent has a fire pit (essentially a large metal box) for barbeques and warmth. There's a picnic table with a parasol too.
The glamping site is located within an area designated as being an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site has spectacular views of Snowdonia with Snowdon itself seen from nearly everywhere on site. All roads and paths within two or three minutes walk form your tent also have stunning views of open farmland towards Snowdonia or great open views of the sea. On clear days from a small hilltop, two or three minutes walk from our entrance gate; you can see the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland.
