Our family run site has panoramic views of Blencathra, Skiddaw and Clough Head Mountains; all within easy walking distance, making our touring site the perfect base from which to explore idyllic Cumbria.
Walking directly from our site you can pick up disused, converted railway line from Threlkeld to Keswick and enjoy three miles of well maintained flat walking. The scenic footpath passes through the Greta Gorge alongside the River Greta with highlighted points of interest to look out for. Also within walking distance lies the village of Threlkeld boasting two traditional public houses offering superb food.
