Set within the historic grounds of Samlesbury Hall near Preston in Lancashire, this charming glamping experience offers guests a unique and peaceful countryside escape. Samlesbury Hall is one of Lancashire’s most celebrated stately homes, and the colourful collection of shepherd’s huts provides a luxurious yet rustic setting for a memorable stay.

Luxurious Shepherd Huts
Each hand-crafted shepherd’s hut sleeps up to four guests and is designed with both comfort and style in mind. Featuring two double beds made from European oak with memory foam mattresses, the huts offer a restful retreat for couples, friends, or families. The cosy en suite bathrooms are fitted with large showers, hot water, soft towels, and indulgent toiletries.

Warm and welcoming year-round, the huts are fully insulated and tastefully lit with festoon lighting. Guests can make use of outdoor tables and chairs, relax around a communal fire pit, or unwind at a picnic bench while soaking in the scenic views of the estate grounds.

On-Site Dining at the Heritage Café
The Heritage Café at Samlesbury Hall provides a delightful and eco-conscious dining experience. Designed with sustainability in mind, the café features tables crafted from reclaimed scaffolding and an abundance of greenery that brings the outdoors in. The open-plan layout, complete with bi-folding doors, seamlessly connects diners with the beautiful Heritage Gardens.

Open Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, the café serves a variety of delicious home-cooked meals suitable for all ages, making it a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, brunch, or lunch in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
