Orcaber Farm, Austwick, Settle, North Yorkshire

Nestled near Austwick, Settle, in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, Orcaber Farm offers a charming retreat for campers and caravanners seeking to immerse themselves in the stunning natural beauty of the surrounding hills and countryside. With sweeping views of both the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Forest of Bowland, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this small family-run caravan and campsite provides a tranquil haven just half a mile off the A65.

The site's convenient location places it within easy reach of the delightful village of Austwick, a mere 15-minute walk away. Here, visitors can explore the village's country pub, village shop, and play park, as well as miles of scenic walled bridlepaths waiting to be discovered.

For caravans and motorhomes, Orcaber Farm offers a choice of standard pitches, available in either hard standing or grass, both equipped with electric hook-ups. Alternatively, guests can opt for super pitches, providing the added convenience of a personal fresh water tap and grey waste disposal. Tent campers are catered to with spacious pitches, available with or without electric hook-up, situated in a separate field for added tranquillity.

The campsite boasts an array of excellent facilities, including a well-maintained shower block with separate facilities for males and females, clean toilets, a potwash room, and a freezer for freezer or ice blocks. Electric hook-ups, tourist information points, and a chemical toilet disposal point further enhance the camping experience. A dedicated dog walk along the river allows furry friends to stretch their legs, while picnic benches dotted around the site provide idyllic spots for al fresco dining.

For those seeking a blend of adventure and comfort, Orcaber Farm offers camping pods ideal for up to four guests. These well-insulated pods offer a snug sleeping area, complete with lighting and electrical outlets for added convenience. While the pods do not come furnished with beds, guests can bring along air mattresses for a comfortable night's sleep under the sturdy roof.

As a reminder, disposable BBQs must be raised off the ground on stands to prevent damage to the grass, with stands available upon request. For additional provisions, a larger supermarket can be found in Settle, just five miles away.

With its idyllic setting and comprehensive amenities, Orcaber Farm invites visitors to unwind and reconnect with nature amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales.
