Kidwelly Glamping, Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire
Kidwelly Glamping offers stunning glamping accommodation overlooking the ancient town of Kidwelly. Based on a working farm in a beautiful location, we are perfect for an unforgettable rural getaway in Carmarthenshire.
Our tranquil and relaxing setting is a haven for nature enthusiasts looking for somewhere special to stay. You can watch the daily life on the working farm, from seeing cattle in the adjoining fields to collecting eggs from the chickens. You can also enjoy stargazing at the dark night skies of West Wales. We have two safari tents and a shepherd’s hut to choose from. All of our accommodation is beautifully furnished and comes with a range of superb facilities.
Safari Tents: Our two luxurious tents, Red Kite and Merlin, are set in spacious, secluded pitches which offer lots of privacy and space. Each tent comes with a lovely veranda with patio furniture to admire the view from and a gorgeous wood-fired hot tub. The tents come with a king-size double bedroom and 2nd bedroom with bunk beds. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower, flushing toilet and sink. The well-equipped kitchen comes with an electric hob, fridge and microwave. In the chillier months, a wood-burning stove will keep you warm and toasty. Facilities include a BBQ and all bed linen, duvets and towels are provided.
Shepherd Hut: Big Cwtch is a wonderful hand-crafted shepherd hut offers comfort and sumptuous furnishings, perfect for the ultimate getaway. Inside you will find a comfy king-size bed, two armchairs, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The full-length windows are great for savouring the glorious views. Outside there is a fabulous hot tub to unwind with a glass of bubbly and patio furniture for al fresco dining.
We also have The Gambo Shepherds Hut. This hand-crafted hut includes a kitchen area with a sink, 2-ring hob and fridge. There is a king-size bed and a bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink. Relax on the sofa and enjoy the countryside views. Outside we have an electric hot tub to soak yourself in.
Lots of superb attractions are in the local area. Pembrey Country Park has an abundance of activities, from a 130-meter dry ski slope to the longest toboggan run in Wales. Lovely beaches are accessible, including Gower beaches to the East and Tenby, Saundersfoot and the Pembrokeshire coast to the West.
