Esme’s Escape is a luxurious shepherd’s hut in Haselbury Plucknett near Crewkerne. Our aim is to provide an escape for solo travellers or a couple, who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy modern living. Our multi-award-winning hut offers the unique opportunity to combine glamping with accessibility, enjoying the convenience of being less than a 3-minute walk to the local pub.
The shepherd’s hut is in our small orchard, in the centre of this Somerset village. It has an outdoor seating area and is nestled between residential houses and the local church. It is an ideal base for walkers as we are close to The Liberty Trail and The Parrett Trail.
We now have a luxurious log fired hot tub to relax in. Imagine soaking yourself whilst drinking a few glasses of bubbly under the starry night sky, perfect for feeling rejuvenated and energised.
South Somerset area is a fantastic place to visit at any time of year. You will find beautiful villages, an undulating landscape, pubs, shops, cafes and so much more.
