Koa Tree Camp, Welcombe, Bideford, Devon
Situated just outside of Welcombe, Koa Tree Camp offers luxurious glamping accommodation. It is perfect for groups of friends, an active family or a couple looking for a romantic getaway.
Our geodomes offer a quirky glamping experience. They are fully insulated, waterproof and enjoy glorious views of the countryside. The domes are set up for families and groups and sleep up to 6 people in 1 king, 2 singles and either 1 double or 1 single futon. They are tastefully furnished and come with a log burning stove and outside there is a wooden platform with seating and a BBQ.
We have stunning hand built log cabins, perfect for all weather conditions. They are well insulated and come with a log burner to keep you warm and toasty on a chilly day. The cabins are perfect for families and couples. They sleep up to 4 people in a king and two singles, some in a bunk style. Outside there is a seating area and BBQ. A lovely place to relax with a morning coffee whilst admiring the view.
Onsite we also have a rainy day room within our recently converted barn, six luxury, private bathrooms and a shop which stocks all the basics plus more.
There is also a central firepit where you can warm up after a long day in the outdoors. Alternatively, you may prefer to cook on your very own barbeque.
We also offer a number of activities at the farm including surf and stand-up paddleboard lessons, kayaking tours and cookery courses. We regularly have guest watersports instructors, art displays, wine tastings and local musicians popping in to provide entertainment during your stay
Our site is fantastically situated for exploring both the coast of Devon and Cornwall. To the north, the Hartland Area of Outstanding Beauty extends across the moors and up to Hartland Point and the Bristol Channel. To the south is the town of Bude with its amazing beaches, links golf course and trinket shops. There are a number of stunning beaches within a short drive. The beautiful beach of Welcombe Mouth is just minutes from the farm, providing some excellent walking on the South West Coastal Path.
