Chapel House Farm, Craswall, Herefordshire
Chapel House Farm in Craswall has pitches for tents, campervans and small caravans in over 15 acres of wildflower fields bordered by ancient woodland. Our campsite in Herefordshire is the perfect place to escape to from the pressures of modern life.
We have three beautiful camping fields available. The Flat field enjoys glorious views of the Black Mountains and down the Golden Valley. Half moon pitches are mown into the long, flowery grass around the outside of the field. If you fancy that added bit of luxury you can hire traditional canvas bell tents which will be put up for your arrival. The Church Field has just 4 pitches: 2 extra large pitches and 2 regular pitches mown into the tall meadow grass. All the pitches boast stunning views of the Black Mountains.
You can stay in our beautifully furnished and spacious bell tent. The tent sleeps up to 4 people and enjoys outstanding views up to the summit of Black Hill. Inside you will find an old steamer trunk, director’s chair, colourful rugs and fresh flowers. Lighting is provided by two solar lanterns and there’s a picnic rug and plates, cups and cutlery in a picnic basket.
The shop and pizza oven are in a 15th Century stone building. Pizzas are available using our own home made farm flour. Our own home grown salad and vegetables are also available. We sell local firewood, fire lighting kits, maps, and gin, beer, cider, fruit juices and crisps from local producers.
