The Estate is within easy reach of Oakham, Stamford, Leicester, Peterborough and Nottingham, making it a great base for a family or a group of friends who are looking for a well deserved holiday.
The glamping site is nestled in a beautiful part of the estate, which covers 500 hectares of Exton Park. The park contains a sheltered 5 acre walled garden which gradually slopes down to an ornamental lake at the southern end, where ospreys have been known to catch their dinner!

Our glamping tents are like staying in a home away from home. They are equipped for practical day-to-day comfort and furnished with a gracious, relaxed elegance. Solid decking floors run throughout the spacious interior, extending to the terrace at the front and a practical porch entrance to the rear.

Exton Park, 20 minutes by car from Peterborough and less than 10 from the A1, is home to the Gainsborough family. The house and grounds are occasionally used for weddings, and regularly as a location for film and photo shoots. The parkland has existed since the 12th Century, and the gardens witnessed performances by Handel in the 18th Century. The old potting shed now forms the honesty shop where essential items and local produce can be purchased.
