Set at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, the park is on the outskirts of Llanrwst close to Betws-y-Coed, Conwy. This is an ideal touring caravan site from which to explore Snowdonia and the rest of North Wales or simply to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
There are 2 touring caravan sites at Bron Derw on the outskirts of Llanrwst in the Conwy Valley between Betws-y-Coed and Conwy.
The popular village of Betws-y-Coed is 5 miles to the south, and the Victorian resort of Llandudno is 10 miles to the north.
There are many steam railways to visit including the Snowdon Mountain Railway, the Welsh Highland Railway and Ffestiniog Railway. There are historic castles at Conwy, Caernarfon and Dolwyddelan and the world famous Italianate village of Portmeirion (used for the TV series 'The Prisoner') is within easy reach. The renowned Bodnant Garden is a few miles down the road.
The area is ideal for sightseeing, mountain biking, walking, climbing, fishing and much more. The beaches at Llandudno, Anglesey and Cardigan Bay are also easily accessible.
