park is also only 30 minutes from the Dumfries & Galloway town of Castle
Douglas which has many independent shops and a few supermarkets.
The
park is licensed for 73 pitches which consist of 46 statics and 27
tents/tourers, 10 of the touring pitches have hard standings and electric
points. The holiday park is a place of quiet as there are no play areas or
shops just a haven of wildlife and relaxation. If you're lucky you may see
herds of deer, birds of prey, squirrels and otters.
The
holiday park is located in an area where you will be spoilt for choice of
things to do. There are lots of activities to do such as walking, sailing and
cycling. The area is full of historic attractions such as Cairnholy, Carsluith
Castle, Dundrennan Abbey and Kenmure Castle. There are always events going on
in the area from jazz festivals through to the popular Gaelforce event.
