The
Farm is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty below the famous Osmington
White Horse.
The
chalk figure has been part of the farm since it was cut into the hill in 1808.
The huge portrait, visible for miles around, shows King George III riding
Adonis, a Hanoverian horse foaled in 1784.
The
farm is home to a host of wild flowers in many of the fields, including
Orchids, Cowslips, Vetches, Rock Rose, Ragged Robin, Cuckoo Flowers and many
more.
Footpaths
and bridleways criss-cross the farm allowing you to explore the local area at
your leisure, including the villages of Sutton Poyntz and Osmington. For those
with an eye for simpler pleasures there are a number of local pubs to relax,
unwind and sample some local produce.
